If you’re in need of a peaceful break surrounded by nature, Panaraga in Barobo, Surigao del Sur is a spot worth checking out. With its relaxing vibes and scenic coastal views, it’s the kind of place that lets you slow down and breathe. During my visit, I stayed at Kubo ni Inday, a charming beachfront retreat that blends rustic simplicity with a calming seaside atmosphere. Getting there is a bit expensive if you're commuting. From the Barobo town proper, you can hop on a tricycle (Bao-bao) for around ₱200–₱300, and the ride takes you through pleasant countryside roads. If you’re driving your own vehicle, even better — the roads are smooth and easy to follow. Kubo ni Inday offers native-style cottages that are well-maintained, cozy, and clean.
